How to Maintain a Maritime Medical Storage Cabinet?
Maintenance a medical locker includes daily maintenance, regular maintenance and special environment maintenance.
Daily maintenance:Using neutral cleaner (pH 6-8) to wipe cabinet.Forbid use chlorine or abrasive cleaners.If cabinet have temperature control system,need check temperature fluctuations (allow deviation ±2℃).And check the condensate drain whether smooth.
Regular maintenance:Every month check hinge whether lubrication,if it’s not smooth,use a syringe to precisely inject oil into the hinge.Check sealing strip elasticity every month,too.Quarterly testing of internal UV disinfection system performance.And check the torque of the anti-vibration bracket bolts.Each year test the overall air tightness.
Special maintenance environment:If in tropical sea,each year use “marine grade” anti-fungal agent like Biotol® MD-300 deal with medical cabinet interior.And check the efficiency of condensate evaporator,if the humidity greater than 80%,activate auxiliary dehumidification.Polar route:anti freezing measures for door seals: Apply low-temperature special lubricating grease (such as Krytox™ GPL-206).
