How to Keep Medicine well on Board
When storage medicine on board,need specially pay attention to anti moisture,high temperature,vibration,and need classification management.Ensure medicines keep well during voyage.
1.Firstly,choose appropriate medicine storage cabinet:marine medicine cabinet(as customized).The medicine cabinet must have sealed and moisture-proof design,avoid the intrusion of seawater and humidity.Material of storage cabinet need can resist salt spray erosion.If need to store medicine that require refrigeration (such as insulin),need equip with marine small medical refrigerator.Prepare a waterproof and shockproof storage box as backup plan.
2.Secondly,control environment temperature and humidity.Most of medicine are suitable for 15~25 ℃,need to avoid direct sunlight.Using a constant temperature storage box to store high temperature sensitive medicine,or storage in a low temperature dark place.Place moisture-proof agent inside the cabinet,replace regularly.
3.Thirdly,medicine classification and fixation.Layered storage of various types of medicine.Inside the cabinet,add elastic fixing strap or sponge groove,avoid bottle jar collision during ship voyage.Fragile medicine wrap with soft cloth.
