Marine aluminum honeycomb panel is a lightweight and fire-resistant composite material.The inner core adopts aluminum honeycomb core,and the two layers can be made of aluminum plate or plywood.Aluminum honeycomb panels are durable,environmentally friendly and most importantly,lightweight.Widely used in modern shipbuilding industry,it is also known as the “star material” for spatial structure and interior decoration.

The structure of aluminum honeycomb panel
Aluminum honeycomb panels are made of aluminum material.The surface,bottom plate and core material are all made of high-strength aluminum.The inner layer is a hexagonal aluminum honeycomb structure.These tightly arranged honeycombs wrap around each other and can disperse pressure from the surface.Apply a thin layer of adhesive on the surface of the aluminum plate to firmly bond the honeycomb core material to the upper and lower aluminum plates. Therefore,honeycomb panels have the advantages of light weight,high strength and good rigidity.

- Surface has strong adaptability:The surface of the plywood is a natural wooden structure,which can firmly stick solid wood veneer,laminate.This allows it to perfectly present a high-end and warm solid wood texture while maintaining overall lightweight.
- Excellent impact resistance:The plywood itself has a certain degree of toughness and elasticity.When subjected to local blunt object impact,it is not easy to leave obvious pits like thin aluminum plates and has good resistance to local surface deformation.
- Cost and fire safety balance:normally it made by marine fire retardant plywood,combined with aluminum honeycomb core,it can still meet the flame retardant standards of specific compartments.The material cost is usually more advantageous than high-grade all aluminum coated plywood.
